How to play Rubble Rally

Rubble Rally is a free 3D kart party game that runs in your browser. Up to eight karts drive through a city that is being knocked down, and every round of the Show asks you to do one thing well: race, dodge, freeze, park, hide or paint.

Controls on a phone or tablet

Hold the phone sideways or upright. Steer with the pad on the left, or switch on tilt steering and lean the phone like a wheel. The big buttons on the right are drift, nitro and your item. The game works in Chrome and Safari on Android and iPhone, so friends on phones and friends on laptops can race together. A gamepad also works on PC: plug it in and press a button.

How the Show works

The main event is the Show: a party of up to eight karts plays a run of short rounds. A roulette picks each round. After every round the slowest or unluckiest karts are out, and the last finalists meet in The Getaway, a race to the helicopter while the city collapses behind them. You can read about every round on the game modes page.

Being knocked out does not mean waiting. Eliminated players become Wreckers: they drop rubble on the survivors and use the round's own trick, such as a fake turn in Red Light, Green Light. A Wrecker who knocks a survivor out directly swaps back into the Show, once per Show.

Tips for your first races

No account, no download and no install: the game loads in a few seconds and saves your progress in the browser. When you are ready, invite your friends with a party link.
