How Hide & Seek works

Hide & Seek is a party round in Rubble Rally: it joins the round roulette when you play in a party with friends, because it is at its best with people whose habits you know.

Scatter. The hiders get a head start. Your kart is disguised as a street prop, usually a wheelie bin, and you can swap disguises with your item button.
Blend in. Park next to the real bins, line up with them and stop moving. A bin that rolls across the road is not a bin.
Hunt. Seekers drive round ramming anything that looks off. A wrong guess stuns the seeker for a moment, so random ramming is costly.
Survive. Hiders still hidden when the timer ends go through to the next round.

Hiding tips

Join a row. One bin on its own in the middle of a street is suspicious; one bin in a row of five is not.
Face the same way. Real props are lined up neatly. A crooked one gives you away.
Do not wobble. Bins that move a little are the first to get rammed.
Swap when spotted. If a seeker slows down near you, a quick disguise swap can buy you the round.

Seeking tips

Remember how the street looked before the round. Count the bins.
Watch the edges of the screen for anything that twitches.
Do not ram every prop: a wrong guess stuns you while the real hiders relax.

Is it like prop hunt?

Yes, it is the same idea as prop hunt from Garry's Mod and Fortnite creative maps, just with karts and in a browser tab. There is nothing to install, so it is a quick game to start on a call or at a sleepover, and friends on phones and laptops play together.

More than one game

Hide & Seek is one round of the Show, a knockout party. Other party rounds are Zombie Tag and Musical Parking, and the main rounds include Red Light, Green Light. Knocked-out players become Wreckers who drop rubble on the survivors, so nobody sits out.

Open the game, create a party and send the link (it looks like rubble-rally.vercel.app/p/ABCD). Up to 8 friends join from any phone or computer, and bots fill the empty seats.
