How Red Light, Green Light works in Rubble Rally
A giant robot foreman stands at the end of a long straight with a demolition hammer. When the light is green, everyone floors it. When it turns red, the robot's head swings round and you must stop dead. Any kart still moving on red gets the hammer and is knocked back down the field.
The first karts over the line go through to the next round of the Show; the counter at the top shows how many seats are left. The rest are out, but not finished: knocked-out players become Wreckers, and in this round a Wrecker can fake a turn of the robot's head to make the leaders panic-brake.
Tips to win
- Brake early. Karts do not stop instantly. Keep an eye on the light at the top of the screen and the traffic lights along the road.
- Do not ride the leader's bumper. If the kart ahead stops and you hit it on red, you are the one moving.
- Save nitro for the last green. A late boost wins more seats than an early one.
- Do not trust every head turn. Wreckers can fake it. If the light is still green, keep going.
Why play it with karts?
The game everyone knows from school and from the TV show got a second life online, but most browser versions are a single-player clicker or a barebones lobby. Here it sits inside a full party game: a roulette picks the rounds, so after Red Light, Green Light you might race through collapsing towers, paint the town or hide as a wheelie bin. A full Show takes about ten minutes.

Play it with friends
Open the game, create a party and send the link (it looks like rubble-rally.vercel.app/p/ABCD). Up to 8 friends join from any phone or computer, and bots fill the empty seats. Everyone sees the same robot at the same time, so arguments about who moved on red are settled by the hammer. You can also play alone against bots straight away.
It works on an iPhone, an Android phone, a Chromebook, a Mac or a Windows PC. On a phone you steer with touch buttons or by tilting; on a computer you use the arrow keys or WASD. See how to play for every control.
